Ce Cartoonist, qui célébrait les 20 ans de l’événement, aura été riche en péripéties pour l’AEUG. Malgré un emplacement très discret et une absence de signalisation fort dommageable pour nous au sein même du salon, nous avons pu faire des rencontres… et quelles rencontres ! Le bilan du Cartoonist par l’AEUG, ce sont quelques séquences qui vont s’articuler autour de remerciements. Des remerciements parfois plus personnels qu’autre chose.

Merci à Shinji Araki, qui a passé presque deux jours entiers à discuter, simplement et humblement, avec tous ceux les admirateurs du travail de son défunt père, dont on a eu l’occasion de mesurer combien il nous a marqués.

Merci à Nobuyoshi Habara, qui aura brillé parmi les invités pour sa disponibilité, qui aura eu la gentillesse de faire un crochet par notre stand et nous aura fait cadeau d’un dessin ainsi que de la promesse de parler de l’AEUG à ses enfants, fans de Gundam.

Merci à Tomokazu Seki, toujours prompt à répondre aux attentes des fans et qui, même s’il n’a malheureusement pas pu participer au Gunpla Cartoonist, m’aura personnellement offert un moment aussi précieux que trivial.

Merci à Yasuyuki Mutô (ainsi qu’à Harumo Sanazaki, rencontrée au même moment), non seulement pour sa participation au Gunpla Cartoonist, mais aussi pour la gentillesse et la disponibilité qu’il aura montrés tout au long du week-end.

Merci à Eric Legrand, plus sympathique que jamais (si c’était encore possible !) et d’une spontanéité délicieuse lors de la conférence que j’ai l’honneur et le plaisir d’animer.

Merci à Tôru Furuya, star parmi les stars, qui aura non seulement apporté toute son énergie à ce Cartoonist, mis le feu à la conférence conjointe avec Eric Legrand ainsi qu’au concert à travers son intervention, mais qui nous aura également fait l’honneur suprême de passer sur le stand de l’AEUG et de remettre le premier prix du Gunpla Cartoonist.

Merci à Akira Kushida, Hironobu Kageyama et Nob pour leur pêche, leur sourire et l’énergie fabuleuse qu’ils ont déployée lors de ce concert inoubliable. Merci aussi, et peut-être surtout, à Pierre Giner, l’artisan du concert et de la venue des nombreux invités.

Merci également à tous nos soutiens et amis, que nous retrouvons avec un plaisir chaque fois renouvelé au gré des événements auxquels nous participons.

Enfin, merci aux membres de l’AEUG qui se sont mobilisés, en amont du festival jusqu’au milieu du concert, où ils ont été indiscutablement (du premier rang central de la salle, juste derrière les invités) les pyromanes qui ont fait exploser l’ambiance !

En définitive, ne resteront de ce week-end que les bons souvenirs. Et, bien entendu, l’attente de revivre un événement au moins aussi incroyable que ce que les organisateurs nous ont réservé, avec une immense générosité, au cours de ce salon.

The 20th anniversary edition of the Cartoonist fair has been like an adventure for us, members of the AEUG. Despite the location of our booth, that was very difficult to find for the visitors, we have made encounters that will remain in our memory for very long. This report of the Cartoonist fair by the AEUG is mostly made of thanks, that may sometimes be my very personal expression.

I would like to thank Shinji Araki, who spent two days talking simply and humbly with all the people who admire the work of his late father, thus proving how important the legacy of Shingo Araki is to us all.

I would like to thank Nobuyoshi Habara, one if not the most receptive guest of this Cartoonist fair, who has been kind enough to drop by our booth, to draw a sketch in front of us and to promise to talk his children about the AEUG, since they are Gundam fans.

I would like to thank Tomokazu Seki, always eager to answer to the fans’ call and, even though he could not visit the booth of the AEUG, granted me with a trivial yet wonderful gift.

I would like to thank Yasuyuki Muto (and Harumo Sanazaki, whom I met at the same time), as he took part in the Gunpla Cartoonist contest, but also has been very kind and receptive all event long.

I would like to thank Eric Legrand, as likeable as always and delightfully spontaneous during the talk show I have been honored to lead.

I would like to thank Tohru Furya, the brightest star we met during this event, who breathed his energy into this Cartoonist fair, into the talk show with Eric Legrand and into the final concert, and I would like to thank him for honoring us with his presence during the awarding ceremony of the Gunpla Cartoonist.

I would like to thank Akira Kushida, Hironobu Kageyama and Nob for their everlasting smile and the burning energy they spread on this unforgettable concert. I would also like to express my gratitude to Pierre Giner, the man who made possible this whole event.

I would like to thank our supporters and friends, with whom we always reunite with delight in the events we take part in.

Finally, I would like to thank the members of the AEUG, who got together from before the event until the final concert, in which they were the trigger that set up the fire that made both audience and singers burn altogether.

今回の２０年記念「Cartoonist」は、AEUGにとって実りの多いイベントとなりました。隠されたブースと会場で足りなかったブースへの指示があったのに、我々は信じられない出会いもできました。総合評価というのは、感謝の言葉で言い表せないかもしれません。殊に、本物の個人的な礼を申し上げたいと思います。

荒木伸二氏に感謝を申し上げます。まるで二日間に、亡くなったお父様の作品についてファンたちと簡素に話しました。どのくらいその作品が印象に残ったことを評価できますように。

羽原信義氏に感謝を申し上げます。ブース訪問の親切で、お土産としての素描で、またはガンダムファンのお子様にAEUGのことを教える約束で、ゲストの皆様の中でも暖かさで輝いていました。

関智一氏に感謝を申し上げます。残念ですが、「Gunpla Cartoonist」に参加できませんでした。しかし、ファンたちの期待を大きく上回って下さいました。わたくしにかっこういいと思う場面の演芸で掛け替えのない瞬間も贈りました。

むとうやすゆき氏と同時に会った真崎春望氏に感謝を申し上げます。「Gunpla Cartoonist」の参加だけではなくて、イベント全体で見せてくれた親切も、お忙しいところにもかかわらず迅速なご交流を。

Eric LEGRAND氏に感謝を申し上げます。まさかいつもより気分の良いお方であり、わたしが慶んで務めたトークショーでものすごい自然さも出しました。

スターの中のスター古谷徹氏に感謝を申し上げます。「Gunpla Cartoonist」に元気を分けてくださったし、Eric Legrandとのトークショーとコンサートまでにも熱心で燃え上がらせました。また、信じられない最高の光栄、AEUGのブースまでいらっしゃって「Gunpla Cartoonist」１等賞を渡しました。

串田アキラ氏、影山ヒロノブ氏、NoB氏に感謝を申し上げます。その元気や笑顔のお陰で、コンサートの時間を誰一人も一生忘れません。また、コンサートを作ってゲストの皆様を誘われましたPierre GINER氏に特別な礼の言葉を。

応援して下さったの友達の皆様、いつもの再会の喜びを示すようにありがとうございました。

そして、参加したAEUGのメンバーに感謝を申し上げます。フェスティバルの準備からコンサートの途中まで、ゲストの直ぐそばに１列目に座ってた、確実な熱血で会場を爆発されるように魂を燃やしました！
